How long does assembly take?
The pre-engineered frame is designed for a typical 45-minute frame assembly with an experienced crew of two to three people. Site preparation, anchoring, louver installation, wiring and accessories add time.
Does aluminum really mean zero maintenance?
It means no seasonal staining or painting and no wood rot. Like any exterior structure, it still benefits from occasional washing and routine inspection of fasteners, seals, moving parts and drains.
Will a closed louvered roof keep rain out?
Selected roof systems close to provide rain protection and guide water into integrated channels and posts. A pergola remains an exterior shade structure; wind-driven rain and severe weather can exceed normal drainage conditions.
Can you deliver to my US address?
Yes. Through June 2027, orders are fulfilled factory-direct from Chongqing with DDP delivery quoted to your US ZIP code. Beginning in July 2027, qualifying in-stock standard SKUs are planned to ship from a Los Angeles warehouse. Custom, non-stock and project configurations will continue to use the Chongqing DDP route.
Do I need a building permit?
Possibly. Rules depend on your jurisdiction, pergola size, setbacks, anchoring and site conditions. Confirm requirements with the local authority and a qualified professional before ordering or installation.
What arrives in the kit?
Your final bill of materials defines the exact scope. Typical kits include the aluminum frame, roof components, connection hardware and assembly documentation. Foundations, tools and optional accessories are identified separately.
Can I install one beside a pool?
Yes, when the mounting surface, setbacks, electrical clearances and local pool-safety rules are suitable. Have the site reviewed locally before drilling or ordering a final configuration.
Can lights or side screens be added later?
Many configurations support LED lighting, privacy screens or glass panels. It is best to plan them at the start because post routing, electrical preparation and connection details may need to be included during production.
